Working with the timeline

1 000

A timeline is a useful tool that we often use with clients because it helps us make sense of a challenging life event. It is simple and illustrative. Harald makes it clear when it is appropriate to use the timeline, what to watch out for and what not to forget. He will name the appropriate aids and how to visualize it during the therapy. He will reassure us that he also works with some topics divided into multiple sessions. He will also bring in case studies that are seemingly unrelated to the timeline.

Description

We will also look at how to support a client who has amnesia about an event and only knows it from other people's accounts. We will discuss how to work with multiple people at once (e.g. the family system).

The recording also includes a demonstration of the tutor's direct work with the client.
